Business and Community Development Worker in Woking, Surrey
Woking Asian Business Forum (WABF) is looking for someone who shares our vision for a better, stronger community, knows that they can make a difference and is:
- Interested in and able to work with all businesses from various backgrounds
- A highly effective communicator who is skilled in diplomacy
- Eager to support a dedicated team of volunteer board members
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Committed to networking and building relationships
- Willing and able to organise events and volunteers
- Computer literate, familiar with standard software packages
- Proficient in spoken Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi is a distinct advantage
- Holding a clean driving licence and own car

The Business and Community Worker is expected to work for WABF for 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) as well as attend Management Committee meetings and organised public events.
This is a one year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal thereafter. Pay will be at the rate of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum.
