WABF Networking Event: Friday 4 December 2009

The WABF held its latest networking event on Friday the 4th of December at the Woking Football Club.

Guest speakers included:

Lady Miloska Nott who is a committed Catholic who runs the Fund for Refugees in Slovenia and just happens to be married to former defence minister Lord John Knott. For nearly 20 years, Lady Nott has been serving the persecuted Muslim communities in Slovenia.

The Very Reverend Victor Stock, Anglican priest and Dean of Guildford. After the Bishop, he is the senior priest in the Diocese and Victor is, among many other duties, the Chairman of the reference group for the Board of Social Responsibility.

Both are excellent speakers and brought the kind of energy and commitment to this WABF experience for which we have become known.

In the Spirit of Christmas, this was a golden opportunity to come together as one community to celebrate our inclusive and united community and to enjoy top notch speakers as well as enjoying our usual ‘afters’ meal and a wonderful networking event.
