The Woking Asian Business Forum (WABF) has been formed to help promote, encourage and support the development of Asian businesses in the Borough of Woking and surrounding areas. The WABF is keen to ensure Asian businesses are successful and they explore opportunities within the mainstream business activities. Business networking, professional promotion of their services, and training are all encouraged and supported. |
| The WABF pays particular attention to the youth in the community by offering help and advice whenever possible. The WABF identifies Asian businesses with potential and provides them with the support services they need in order to develop and grow.
Closer cooperation with agencies such as Business Link, SEEDA, Woking and Surrey Chamber of Commerce, Learning & Skills Council, Woking Borough Council and the local Asian business community all play an important part in this initiative. The WABF management team is formed from the business owners of a wide range of Asian businesses who collectively bring together expertise from industries as diverse as retail, transport, legal, education, accountancy and IT. The management team is committed to the aims and objectives of the WABF and share the primary goal of helping support local Asian businesses. The WABF is a not-for-profit organisation and the management team volunteer their time and expertise for the success of the organisation's objectives without financial compensation. |
